Hobbies: I enjoy yoga and I LOVE to read, anywhere any time but especially at the beach. I started running in the Spring. I ran my first 5K in June and just completed my first 10K in October - not bad for someone who couldn't run around the block!
Favorites
Song: Way too many to pick one. My favourites for kids: Raffi & Sharon, Lois and Bram. Myself: Modern Music: Great Big Sea, Jason Mraz, Chantal Kreviazuk, Coldplay, Catholic/Christian Music (Matt Maher, Tony Alonso, Paul Tate, Steve Angrisano, Casting Crowns) as well as some of the Big Band music that I grew up on and played in the High School Band.
Book: Love You Forever (Robert Munsch) I'm always on the lookout for another "good read." I have read several of Jodi Picoult's books and reallyl enjoy them. Over the summer I read a few great books: The Shack, Mercy, Still Alice, Look Me In the Eye: My Personal Journey with Aspergers, Life Without Summer. I always have two or three books on the go and I'm always learning.
Movie: For kids: The Snowman
For Me: When Harry Met Sally and old John Candy classics (Planes, Trains and Automobiles, Uncle Buck), Pretty In Pink, Mrs. Doubtfire, Big - all my favourites growing up.
Food: Ice Cream - just about any flavour any time! Couldn't live without it.
