Earth Day Canada is happy to announce the launch of the 2009 Toyota Earth Day Scholarship Program, in its seventh year, to recognize the environmental contributions of high schools students across Canada.
This is an exciting opportunity for graduating high school students in Canada to earn a $5,000 entrance scholarship towards their post-secondary education, regardless of their chosen field of study. Fifteen $5,000 grants will be awarded to graduating students from across Canada who achieve excellence in their schools and demonstrate a commitment to the environment. A national winner also receives a Panasonic notebook computer and a National Award.

Interested students must complete the application and gather the required support materials, school transcripts and letters of reference, by the application deadline of January 31, 2009.
