An Exciting New Program!!!
Arts and Culture Specialist High Skills Major
St. Michael CSS has been chosen to deliver the prestigious Arts and Cutlure High Skills Major Program. Many of our Arts Students wish to pursue a career in the arts. The SHSM program provides them with the opportunity to participate in professional workshops, study their craft in depth and to obtain sector-recognized certification and professional field placements while they are still in secondary school. Students can choose to pursue any of the arts areas offered at St. Michael (drama, music, and/or visual arts). SHSM students graduate with an Arts and Culture distinction which is recognized by the industry and post secondary intsitutions. St. Michael CSS has partnered with many professional arts organizations such as the Stratford Festival, the Shaw Festival and local artists in order to provide high quality arts experiences for the SHSM students.
